Christmas dinner, goose with a side dish was excellent. The chestnut vegetables were a dream. Pick up was professional.

Beautiful location for hikes and walks, excellent accommodation with a great view, again and again and highly recommended!

Mega view with really good food

Good food, beautiful views and nice service

The two of us were there today for the first time without a reservation, never again. When we were welcomed, we were immediately told that you had to wait at least 1 hour for the food, whereupon we decided to just have a drink, but where they were overwhelmed, instead of an ordered cyclist came a Pils where we also had 20 minutes. had to wait for it. We were then parked in an adjoining room although almost everything was still free in the main restaurant. When we then politely asked the waitress if she could call us a taxi, what came from the presumed boss? The announcement everyone has a cell phone that we should do that ourselves, they wouldn't have time. They were totally stressed, overwhelmed, disorganized because there were ridiculous 5-6 tables to serve on the terrace. All in all not professional.

Super terrace in front of the log cabin and a brilliant view over the Palatinate to the Odenwald. Rump steaks were on point. Great food. Very friendly service and the innkeeper (Erich) finds time to look after his guests. You have to go there. Great stop after a hike around the Donnersberg.

A very nice apartment hotel with an incredible view over the Palatinate. Our late arrival was not a problem at all. In the attached restaurant there was a delicious meal and the staff was always friendly.

We had lunch here. The Pfälzer Saumagen tasted very good and it was also a good portion to fill you up. The extra portion of fried potatoes was also worth it. They were really delicious. We are happy to come back here. From the terrace you have a great view.

Very nice restaurant, ideal conclusion after a hike on the Donnersberg.

Sunday lunchtime, the restaurant fully booked up to the last place, as can already something going, or in the rush besides simply take longer. But, cottage feel, hikers, people from near and far, to the rustic wooden house we felt like we were in Bavaria. I did not expect at Thunder Mountain. We will come back hopefully we get a day on which the demand is not as great.

Good accommodation with little quirks. The kitchen could be better stocked. Otherwise very nice hosts, great views and good food in the restaurant.

Very cozy atmosphere. Regional cuisine in sufficient selection. The food tastes very good, the service easy and nice.

Nice place, the outdoor area is great. On the rise, worthwhile to look at times especially as z. B. With sauna, is upgraded. View of the countryside is bomb ...

Very nice rooms with a lot of space, the view was breathtaking. But the rooms werent the cleanest. I mean they weren't dirty not at all but it could have been better. Breakfast and the food at the restaurant next door were amazing. I can only recommend to stay here if you visit this place.

Place is awesome. Rooms are big and clean view from blacony is ok. Breakfast is very good the only thing is internet that was working for 10 min then you had to wait a minute and its start working again.
